So Dubai is literally one of my ultimate favourite places to travel to, I started going with my family when I was just three years old and have been lucky enough to visit every year since. I couldn’t pick just a few things to explain why I love it so much, it’s literally hundreds of things but I’ll list the 7 things that I think of first, when people ask me about it.

I love flying, the whole experience of travelling excites me from the packing of my suitcase at home to the airport.  Dubai is great in that the flight time is fairly quick (6 hrs or so) compared to many other Countries and the time difference is only four hours so you don’t get jet lagged and when we take my 3 year old brother a quickish flight is always a bonus! We always fly Emirates.

One of my favourite things about Dubai is the weather…. its always Summer and what is there not to love about that! Except maybe in July/ August when it averages 45 degrees, HOT HOT HOT!! even then though, most hotels have umbrellas and fans by the pools and all have air conditioning inside. My favourite time of year to visit is October – March as you can sit outside in the evenings, as it cools down after dark. You can enjoy the water park more in those months too, as you can walk around without burning your feet to a crisp!!!. It rarely rains in Dubai sometimes in the Winter months, it has only ever rained once since I’ve been and that was for one evening and morning in April.

Atlantis The Palm Hotel,  is usually where my Mum and Dad chooses for my family to stay, there are so many things to do all in one hotel. It has a waterpark for all ages, which you can use for free every day if your staying at the hotel, an adult pool, a kids pool and it has 20 different restaurants to suit all different cultures and families. My favourite two restaurants are Seafire Steakhouse, OMG the steak is unreal! and Yuan the most amazing chinese I’ve ever tasted, yummy!!!!

My favourite ever shopping Mall is the Emirates Mall, it’s the largest shopping centre in the World. Situated in the heart of New Dubai and it takes about 15 minutes in a taxi from the Atlantis Hotel. It has a Vox cinema, Ski Dubai, restaurants, a giant Aquarium with an underwater zoo and so many shops all tax free. If you love shopping like me you must go there!!

5 – SKI

An indoor ski resort that has everything all inside the Emirates Mall. You can ski, snowboard go on a tube slide, a zip wire and you can even meet penguins.

The Dubai Fountain is so pretty and you must go and see it. Situated right next to the Emirates Mall, it has shows every evening from 6pm, every half an hour. We always get a table in one of the restaurants next to it to get the best views.

The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the World and has the most insane views of Dubai, you travel up to an observation deck on the 134th floor and its unreal!!

There is still so much of Dubai I haven’t seen or done yet, and I can’t wait to do them. The sand safari in the desert being one of them. I am next flying over to shoot there later this year, so hopefully I can get to experience these things then.
