So my Miami trip was insannneeee!! From the moment we took off, to the moment I landed back home in London. It started off with a really fun flight, I usually can’t wait to watch a film or sleep on a plane but this flight we ended up chatting to lots of passengers for most of it, one of them was English rapper, Chip, who was on the flight with his friends, only to be invited by him to his Miami Villa for his next music video, that he was filming out there!
When we landed at MIA, our driver met us and took us to our first stop, THE MIAMI BEACH EDITION Hotel. We were staying here for our first few nights and it was amazing! From the private beach area on Mid beach to the Matador restaurant and bar, there was lots to to do and the staff couldn’t do enough for you, nothing was too much! There was a bowling alley and ice skating rink in the basement, so that’s always worth a visit.
Anyone that knows me knows I love going to the gym and working out, its something I make time for on every vacation. The gym at this hotel was unreal! I also loved waking up at sunrise and running along the beach, before it got too hot and I’ll always look back on those times and think how lucky I was to experience Miami at its best!
Our next Hotel was the famous FAENA, our room was one of the nicest I have ever stayed in on any trip and the view was crazy…..
One of my favourite things about my job is the friends I have made from all over the world on Instagram, and it was so nice to catch up with Sophie. Sophie is with Next models and lives in Miami, we have known each other since the beginning of our modelling careers, I literally love her to pieces and miss her loads.
Shoot Day is always my favourite day on any trip and this one was really fun. I was so lucky to be shooting with Beth Studenberg a top Photographer and It was at this shoot I met Jennifer, Jennifer is also with Next models and we had the best day together.
I have grown up eating out in restaurants a lot and ever since I can remember it’s something I really love to do. I lovveee food (not at all embarrassed to admit I think about food a LOT 😉 My favourite two restaurants I went to in Miami were,
Nusr Et – SALT BAE
Instagram is full of his famous salt throwing videos and I have been to his restaurant in Dubai and loved it, so couldn’t wait to go to this one. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is like no other restaurant I have ever been to. I have to say I prefer his restaurant in Miami, just because it’s larger and appears less busy, the queues are literally out of the door in Dubai. If you go, you have to try the pistachio baklava, his signature dessert its one of the nicest desserts I have ever had!!
Another restaurant you must try was Cecconis at SOHO HOUSE Miami Beach.
Sadly I didn’t have time to go to the shopping mall, but we did spend the afternoon on the famous Lincoln road.
I have to say that I think this Miami trip was one of my favourite ever vacations, the weather, the people, the vibe I just loved every minute of it… I cannot wait to go back…
